Reading the Bible Together
Jesus said he didn’t live on food alone “but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matt. 4:4, Deut. 8:3) Not only was he talking about the Bible when he said that, he was quoting it. Reading the Bible feeds us and trains us to hear God’s voice. It feeds us individually, and when we all read in sync, our community is fed and built up in a unique way.
For several years now, Christ’s Church has been reading the Bible together. We’ve used a variety of plans and liked them all for different reasons. This year we are beginning a new Bible Reading Plan. The details of that plan are below. There will also be printed copies available at the church - feel free to take one!
